Almeria Fair
A range of different events catering to all tastes are held within the programme of the Almeria Fair and Fiestas, in honour of the city's patron, the Virgin of the Sea.
Among others we should mention the concerts and shows, the popular Pottery Fair and the Horse Fair, with classical and "vaquero" (cowboy) dressage competitions, along with the Flamenco Festival.Bullfights are also held in parallel, with a novillada (with young bulls), one horseback bullfight and five normal bullfights to be held in the town's bullring.
